FORGE HOUNDS is a new and exciting rock and roll band from Waterford, Ireland. They draw inspiration from Classic Rock legends like Thin Lizzy and ZZ Top, infused with punky vibes from The Undertones and Hanoi Rocks. Their mature, gut-punching sound resonates fiercely, reflecting their decades of writing, recording and performance experience.

“Forge Hounds. It does what it says on the tin - no nonsense hard rocking good times!!!!”
      Barry Devlin, Horslips

Their debut single "Damned If You Don’t" dominated independent music charts globally, hitting number one in the USA's “HUGS Radio” Underground Music Charts for much of 2023. Follow-up tracks "Not The One" and "Redcoat" continued the chart-topping trend. Their most recent release "Sun Kissed Sky" currently resides in the top ten of the HUGS Charts and previously reigned for 3 weeks atop Brazil's “Geografia” Rock Chart.

“Deep resonating riffs, inventive bass lines and a strong classic rock vocal all wrapped up
     in a neat, compact package…”

      Stan Kelly, Accidental Music Reviewer

Formed in 2022 by veterans Paul J Bolger (Vocals / Rhythm Guitar), Mick Wall (Vocals / Lead Guitar), Steve Roche (Bass), and Andy Kavanagh (Drums) the band has amassed 200,000+ streams on Spotify in less than a year of releasing their first single. With their debut album in the can and set to hit streaming platforms and fans shelves alike, in the shape of extremely limited Vinyl and CD editions, the band is working towards a string of shows to help spread the word to those who have yet to hear these hounds howl.

“Forge Hounds are exactly what the world needs right now….
       Martin K, Open Tempo FM

The self-titled FORGE HOUNDS album contains four already released singles plus five more full songs and a short instrumental bringing it to a classic Rock album length of around 42 minutes in all.

The record travels through the punky pop rock feel of their most popular song “Sun Kissed Sky” to the epic album closer “Death Of A Person Unknown” which comes in at over eight minutes long (without ever feeling like it). The rest of the album has a perfect balance from short sharp rockers like “Redcoat”, “Not The One” and “Hometown Hero” to the heavier side of the road with “King Of The Strip” (their cheeky tribute to Motorhead’s Lemmy Kilmister) to the powerful socially conscious slow mover “Louder Than Words”.

Forge Hounds may seem like old school rockers but their music is firmly framed by modern sounds and themes.
